Our Story

How we went from partial equity hotel owners to innovative asset managers with a portfolio of six hotels in just a few years.

Our story started in 2017 when we acquired a single hotel with the simple aim of generating a greater return on investment than what was readily available on the market. With unique strategy, dynamic thinking, and a passion for the industry, our business swiftly grew into the powerhouse it is today, with a six-strong hotel portfolio and an impressive roster of asset management clients.

Here’s how it happened:

Q1 2017

We purchased the Holiday Inn Kenilworth as a smaller shareholder.

Q2 2017

We acquired our second hotel, Holiday Inn Stonehenge, completing the transaction within 2 months from first contact.

Q2 2018

Holiday Inn Express Leigh Sports Village becomes the third property to join our portfolio.

Q4 2018

We took on the historic, 4 star Tankersley Manor – an independent hotel at the time.

Q2 2019

We completed a management buyout on Holiday Inn Kenilworth, finalising the deal within 30 days.

Q2 2019

Moving from strength to strength, we purchased another property, then known as the Milton Keynes Hotel.

Q4 2019

A busy autumn sees the Tankersley Manor Hotel branded Mercure and the Milton Keynes Hotel branded Delta by Marriott within the space of 2 weeks.

Q2 2023

Another acquisition saw us complete on The Stones Hotel in a record time of 2 weeks from initial contact to the owner to handing over the keys.

Q2 2023

BGAM Hotel Management was officially born to allow more hotel owners and operators to benefit from our streamlined strategy and management services.
